Kamelien loves you!

The most important thing is to hold on, hold out, for your creative life, for your solitude, for your time to be and do, for your very life; hold on, for the promise from the wild nature is this: after winter, spring always comes.

We look for the blessing in the boulder we cannot remove from our path and come to be grateful for our lives, accepting the journey that is ours alone to live. The point at which we stop asking, ‘Why me?’ and accept that some things can never have rational explanations marks the beginning of our acceptance of the spiritual mystery of divine will.

It is impossible to be both wise and pessimistic. Yet you have to nurture optimism consciously. ‘Wisdom arises through effort,’ Buddha said, and it disappears through lack of effort. You have to choose to make the best of a difficult situation and to trust that a reason beyond your understanding is always at work.

We are born with a desire to fulfill our highest potential, purpose, or Sacred Contract, but we do have to develop the will to fulfill it. When we are off-track- usually when we are motivated more by fear and expedience than by courage and a vision of what we’re meant to do- we become restless and disappointed.

Being of service is not an option, it is a biological necessity. Every kind action we do for someone is a reanimation of our own life force- and of the other person’s.

Yoga this week!!

Yoga break, anyone?!

Who’s in?? I will be teaching tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am and Sunday at 10am.

The theme of the week is getting into those spots where we accumulate tightness and tension and unlock them with a focused, gentle yoga practice. Make it conscious and let it go!

See you on the mat!

Love is a form of grace. It gives us the stamina to endure what would normally be unendurable. Love’s power is so great, we sometimes fear the demands it places on our lives. Love finds it difficult to say no. And abundant love can help improve even the worst circumstances. Loves transforms every action into a powerful instrument of change.

Weekly wisdom from Doreen Virtue

Well, hello, friends… How’s it going?

We’re cruising into summer now (it definitely feels like it here today), and life seems to be getting more and more “active.” Anyone else feeling like that? With the end of the school year approaching, I’ll bet the mommas and papas out there are with me.

This week, Doreen is working with the Archangel Michael oracle deck. Archangel Michael is a protective force, and he can shield us from any intense or unwanted energies that are moving in at this time.

Check out the video above to see what wise counsel Doreen and Michael offer to us this week.

Yoga this week!!

We’re going to have a sunny, sunny beach day for yoga tomorrow! Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen!

I will be teaching regular Thursday class tomorrow at 10am. The roses are still looking fine and the hummingbirds are stopping by to say hi. Join me for this gentle, all levels flow. We will focus on connecting with our calm and quiet center and exploring expansiveness via the side body. Sound fun? Be there!

I will also be teaching on Sunday in the park (weather permitting).

See you on the mat!

It seems that the universe paces our empowerment to the speed of our willingness to act on our own empowerment- when the student is willing the teacher appears. But we are required to notice the teacher, the sign, to hear and heed the call or the signal.
