“The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.”
Today is the new moon in Pisces.
The new moon is a time for nurturing those little seedlings in your heart- manifesting the life of your wildest dreams. Just as the moon grows from new moon into the full moon, you can align with the powerful energy of that process to manifest your goals.
Please enjoy the manifestation meditation with Dr. Wayne Dyer above. Riding the new moon wave!
Body as Temple – Shivratri poem
The rich will make temples for Shiva. What shall I a poor man do?
My legs are pillars. The body the shrine
The head a cupola of gold.
O Lord of the meeting rivers
Things standing shall fall
But the moving ever shall stay.
~Basavanna, revolution Vira Saiva poet who made teachings available to all, women, men of all castes and backgrounds
Join us tonight as all prayers, mantra, meditation, the smallest of offerings are amplified with the New Moon of Shivratri as over a billion beings around the world offer their own form of sadhana. Some will fast all day and night staying up in the home or temples, some in silence, some in kirtan or mantra japa, some offering elaborate puja, some offering a simple fruit or flower. We will be in a hour process of meditation and mantra and some simple movement meditation for all.
With this new moon it is a beautiful time to clear your inner and outer space, listen to mantra or kirtan, read sacred texts, Shiva Sutras, YogaSpandakarikas, Shiva Puranas, take an energy regeneration retreat, take a break from all media, unplug at sundown and use only candle light or ghee lamps. Enjoy a ritual yoga practice and meditation, a japa walk with mantra, love your family and friends and anyone you encounter as an emanation of the One.
Mahashivaratri is a time outside of time for realization and alignment with auspicious (one of the meanings of Siva) consciousness at the heart of all beings. Have a blessed night, day and new moon renewal.”

It’s the last week for the Romance Angels. It’s the last week of their run, leading up to Valentine’s Day today. And once again, I think it’s an amazing reading. Shock. You never would have guessed that, right?
I especially love her suggestion to focus on clearing and healing this weekend- and her meditation to facilitate this is so good. Enjoy. Injoy, everyone!
It’s day 3 of the 40-day global sadhana to release fear and become a conscious leader. This global sadhana challenges the participants with a 31-minute daily meditation (demonstrated above). It’s quite intense. Like many kriyas, it requires the practioner to dig deep and push beyond any mental blockages.
Just. Keep. On.
(Snatam Kaur’s version of Aadays Tisay Aadays is available on Spotify.)
“Sadhana: Trauma or mistreatment by parents or caretakers can be healed or altered through what is known in Sanskrit as sadhana, which means an effort exercised toward achievement of purpose or practice. While the literal translation of sadhana sounds mechanical, it implies a practice of a healing nature. In the tantric tradition, sadhana refers to the path of liberation. Meditating, Reiki, gardening, playing basketball, singing, and yoga are all examples of sadhana that could lead to deep levels of healing with the correct intention- that is, when a person engages in these activities with the purpose of reconnecting to their inherent power.”

Yesterday, I received the email introducing Spirit Voyage‘s next 40-day Global Sadhana, led by Snatam Kaur and Sopurkh Singh. If you watch the video above, they expound on what this global sadhana will entail.
It will begin on February 6 and continue through March 16, and it will center on releasing fear and becoming a conscious leader.
Once again, I’m in! Sounds like just what the (Divine) doctor ordered.

I’m in Las Vegas! It’s such an exciting place. There’s something new to see every second. Let’s all say a little prayer right now that I can stay committed to my meditation and asana practice while I’m here… I want to finish strong in the 21-day yoga challenge.
As I was taking a moment to check in, I found this article about yoga for the crown chakra (sahasrara) from Spirit Voyage. Check it out! Tips for staying connected to Source while braving this garden of earthly delights…
On Sunday, I was blessed and privileged to attend a crystal bowl practitioner training at the Soul of Yoga. It was out of this world. I most vividly remember working with an 18″ throat chakra bowl. When it began to sing, the vibration radiated up my arm and throughout my body.
I was going to attempt to introduce and explain the crystal bowls, but I feel that the gentleman in the video above does an exemplary job of just that, so I’ll leave it to him.
And close with this: Dear Cupid, Please, please, please bring me a crystal bowl (or a set) this year. I’ve been a very good girl ♥
