Sound Healing and Meditation This Friday!

Sound Healing with Quartz Crystal Bowls combines sound and vibration to foster a sense of deep peace and greater harmony on all levels. During this season of giving and joy, of drawing friends and family near, it is important to remember that self-care is a necessity. You have more and better to give to all you do when you are taking steps to maintain balance and well-being in your life. After all, you can’t give those pies away until the apples have been lovingly fed, watered and tended within, right? Please bring a yoga mat or a blanket so you can rest comfortably. Chairs will also be provided if you prefer to sit in a chair. No prior experience with yoga or meditation is required.

Date: Friday, November 24th

Time: 4-4:30pm

Location: Babies in Bloom, 1948 Via Centre, Vista CA

Admission is $5.

Yoga this week!!

Hello, everybody!

It’s your friendly neighborhood yoga cheerleader! When I say ‘down,’ you say ‘dog.’ DOWN! DOG! DOWN DOG! Go yoga!

I’m pumped and ready to encourage you to be the very best you can be on your mat this week. As always, I will be teaching on Monday at 10am.

Our practice this week will focus on tuning in to the breathing to boost our present awareness.

The next Global Sadhana!

The next Global Sadhana begins this Sunday! This time, we will be “Elevating Ourselves, Blessing Our Children.” It is not only for parents and caretakers of children, but anyone who is interested in the upliftment of children worldwide.

The sadhana includes a pranayama exercise, as well as a recitation. Also, check out this video of what Snatam calls “celestial communication” for children. I love it already! I can’t wait to show it to my little man. He loves learning new songs.

I’m very excited about joining this global community to aid children and their caretakers. And it begins on Mother’s Day… such a great gift ♥

Mahashivaratri Blessings!

Join us tonight as all prayers, mantra, meditation, the smallest of offerings are amplified with the New Moon of Shivratri as over a billion beings around the world offer their own form of sadhana. Some will fast all day and night staying up in the home or temples, some in silence, some in kirtan or mantra japa, some offering elaborate puja, some offering a simple fruit or flower. We will be in a hour process of meditation and mantra and some simple movement meditation for all.

With this new moon it is a beautiful time to clear your inner and outer space, listen to mantra or kirtan, read sacred texts, Shiva Sutras, YogaSpandakarikas, Shiva Puranas, take an energy regeneration retreat, take a break from all media, unplug at sundown and use only candle light or ghee lamps. Enjoy a ritual yoga practice and meditation, a japa walk with mantra, love your family and friends and anyone you encounter as an emanation of the One.

Mahashivaratri is a time outside of time for realization and alignment with auspicious (one of the meanings of Siva) consciousness at the heart of all beings. Have a blessed night, day and new moon renewal.”

It’s the last week for the Romance Angels. It’s the last week of their run, leading up to Valentine’s Day today. And once again, I think it’s an amazing reading. Shock. You never would have guessed that, right?

Global sadhana has begun

It’s day 3 of the 40-day global sadhana to release fear and become a conscious leader. This global sadhana challenges the participants with a 31-minute daily meditation (demonstrated above). It’s quite intense. Like many kriyas, it requires the practioner to dig deep and push beyond any mental blockages.
